By downloading, accessing, or playing the Game, you acknowledge that we will process your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Game.
1. Scope & Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected when you use Sail & Fire: Caribbean on mobile devices distributed via Google Play. It does not address the privacy practices of third-party platforms (e.g., Google Play Store, Google Play Games) beyond the data they share directly with us for Game functionality.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the Game, validate purchases, and ensure stability.
2.1 When Data Collection Begins

• The Game does not collect or transmit any data immediately upon installation or initial launch.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics initialize only after you reach the main menu or perform your first in-game action.
• Google Play Billing activates only when you open the in-game store or attempt a purchase.
• You can play fully offline without triggering any data collection by disabling internet access before launching.
2.2 Information from Google Play Games Services (GPGS)
Upon first connection, GPGS automatically provides:
- Game Player ID: A unique, pseudonymous identifier specific to this Game. It contains no email, name, or personal identifiers.
- Purchase Tokens: Transaction receipts for in-app purchases, used solely for validation.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Device & Technical Data: Device model, OS version, language settings, crash logs, and performance metrics.
- Usage Analytics (Firebase): Aggregated, non-personally identifiable gameplay data (session duration, levels completed, feature usage) to improve stability and design.
2.4 Purchase Information (Google Play Billing)
- All in-app purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or any sensitive financial information. We only receive a transaction confirmation and purchase token from Google.
2.5 Information You Voluntarily Provide
- Support Communications: If you email us, we collect your email address and the content of your message to provide assistance.
2.6 What We Do NOT Collect

- Manage GPGS Linking: Google Play Games app → Settings → Toggle off "Automatically sign in to supported games". Note: This may disable purchase validation.
- Delete Local Progress: Uninstall the Game or go to Settings → Apps → Sail & Fire: Caribbean → Storage → Clear Data.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to safeguard your device and Google account credentials.
8. Transfers of Your Information
As a globally distributed game, your information may be processed in countries outside your residence. Firebase and Google Play services operate on secure global infrastructure. For transfers from the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we rely on Google's compliance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure adequate protection.
9. Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary:
- Local Game Progress: Stored on your device until uninstall or manual data clearance.
- Firebase Analytics: Retained by Google per their policy (typically 14 months for raw data, then aggregated).
- Support Emails: Retained for up to 12 months after issue resolution, then securely deleted.
- Purchase Tokens: Retained up to 3 years for fraud prevention and tax compliance.
10. Children
⚠️ Age Restriction: The Game is not intended for children under the age of sixteen (16).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Because GPGS provides only a pseudonymous Player ID, we cannot verify user age.
